Terms of Service
MAI WordPress terms
Effective date: 2 October 2026.
Service
MAI provides a controlled connection between supported AI clients and WordPress sites that the user is authorized to manage. Available capabilities depend on the connected site's software, configuration, and permissions.
Your authorization
You may connect or manage only sites for which you have authority to make the requested changes. You are responsible for choosing appropriate site permissions and for reviewing consequential changes before they are made.
Safeguards and limitations
MAI uses permission scopes, local WordPress controls, version checks, validation, and snapshots for supported operations. These safeguards reduce risk but do not replace normal WordPress backups, staging practices, access controls, security monitoring, or professional review. Some WordPress plugins, themes, builders, and hosting environments may not be supported.
Prohibited use
You must not use MAI to access sites without authorization, bypass security controls, distribute malware, exfiltrate secrets, perform unlawful activity, or intentionally interfere with another person's systems or data.
Availability
The service may change as WordPress, WooCommerce, Elementor, hosting providers, MCP clients, and security requirements evolve. Features may be limited, suspended, or removed when necessary for safety, reliability, legal compliance, or compatibility.
Support
For product or security support, follow the instructions on the MAI support page.
